tTe submission deadline of July 31st for the EDP East Anglian Book Awards for 2010. The ceremony takes place at The Assembly House this year, and the short listed and winning books get excellent sales boosts and PR coverage via the EDP, Jarrold and all the partners including Writers’ Centre Norwich. If you know any books, authors, agents or publishers who should be pushing forward titles into any of the following categories:
Fiction/Poetry/Nature and Places/Art and Photography/History and Tradition/Biography and Memoir/Guidebooks and Travel
Books need to have been published between August 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010. The judges this year will include: Keith Skipper, Professor Jean Boase-Beier, Ian Collins and Ann Thwaite.
To enter, two copies of the book should be sent to Keiron Pim at the EDP, Prospect House, Rouen Road, Norwich, NR1 1RE. For more information call 01603 772431 or email: keiron.pim@archant.co.uk.
Please note that to be eligible books must be predominantly set in or about East Anglia (it is not enough that the author lives in the East Anglian region).
