Cosmopolis will bring together distinguished figures from the arts who have contributed to stories that have become important to audiences and readerships around the world. It will mark the official launch of the Think Something Different scheme, a high-profile initiative designed to create a scholarship fund for the University’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities and it will be the University of East Anglia's contribution to the Norwich bid to be the next European Capital of Culture.
The day will see a variety of events taking place, including discussions about human rights, politics, the visual arts, literature, cinema and photography, as well as a series of masterclasses from leading industry insiders. Among the eminent contributors will be writers such as Amit Chaudhuri, Geoff Dyer, Giles Foden and Jay Griffiths.
